Eid-ul-Adha in Saudi Arabia on July 20
Saudi Arab will celebrate Edu ul Adha on July 20, 2021 (Tuesday) as the crescent of Dhu Al-Hijjah was not sighted on Friday evening, Saudi Supreme Court said.
"The sighting of the Crescent Moon of the month of Dhul Hijjah has not been seen Friday evening. Saturday, therefore is the 30th day of the month of Dhul-Qi'dah, and the Sunday, is the first of the month of Dhul-Hijjah",court also said.
The first day of Eid Al Adha will be then on Tuesday July 20, 2021 accordingly, and Hajj will start on 8 (July 18) when pilgrims head to Mina and will end on 12 (July 22). Youme Arfa, the standing on Plains of Mount Arafat, will be on July 19, 2021.
The Kingdom announced online registration for pilgrims, which began on June 13, closed, with 60,000 people from within the Kingdom qualifying after meeting the requirements.
